Carlisle Castle - May 9th & 10th

May 9th/10th will see VERA attending the annual Regimental Weekend at Carlisle Castle. Home Guard are in attendance as is Border Regiment through the war from BEF to Sicily, Italy, Normandy, Arnhem and Burma. Let's hope the weekend is advertised better than on previous years as its always nice to see plenty of public and veterans alike. If you're in the area over the weekend why not come along and say hello? Last year's weather was superb so fingers crossed we get a repeat for this year!
